Option 2: you have several sponges
When you remove the sponge, wring it out to remove as much blood as possible, then store it in a watertight bag. Insert a clean sponge. When you get home, wash the used sponges under cold running water and leave them to air dry.
Origin:
A carefully exploited natural resource. Harvested by small family fisheries in Greece, Fina Dalmata sponges are selected (no clear-cutting) and carefully cut at the base (no uprooting), which allows the sponges to regrow and helps to preserve the ecosystem of the sponge beds. Harvested by hand, the sponges are then washed, cleaned of their calcareous and organic impurities and lightly bleached with oxygen. Naturally soft, sponges do not cause static electricity and have interesting properties thanks to a high concentration of iodine.
